Software Engineer Intern, Search
MÔ TẢ CÔNG VIỆC
- Support building, testing, and improving components of the search engine (crawler, indexer, searcher)
- Work with large-scale data systems to collect, process, and analyze web data
- Assist in developing and optimizing search algorithms and ranking logic
- Participate in improving query understanding and search relevance for Vietnamese users
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code (primarily in C++/Java)
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization
- Collaborate with Product, Data, and Infrastructure teams to deliver new search features
- Contribute to technical discussions, internal sharing, and learning activities
YÊU CẦU
- 3rd or 4th-year student in Computer Science, IT, or related fields
- Available for a minimum 6-month internship (full-time preferred)
- Strong passion for backend systems, search technologies, or large-scale data processing
- Good foundation in data structures and algorithms
- Basic knowledge of C++, Java
- Familiarity with Linux environment is a plus
- Interest in search systems, information retrieval, or machine learning is a big advantage
- Good problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
- Ability to read and write technical documents in English
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills and teamwork mindset
